Daily Greek Vocabulary Review: Sept. 1

Today's proverbs are from GROUP 59; use that link to review the vocabulary, English translation, and commentary. Before you click and look at the English, see which proverbs you can understand on your own without any English prompting!

  1. Ἄγουσιν ἑορτὴν οἱ κλέπται.
  2. Ὑγίεια καὶ νοῦς ἀγαθὰ τῷ βίῳ δύο.
  3. Ἡ κακὴ κρίσις παντὸς κακοῦ αἰτίον.
  4. Γλώσσῃ ματαίᾳ ζημία προστρίβεται.
  5. Eἶπεν ἡ γυνή, "ὁ ὄφις ἠπάτησέν με καὶ ἔφαγον."
