  1. Λέων τὴν τρίχα, ὄνος τὸν βίον.
  2. Ὕπνος δεινὸν ἀνθρώποις κακόν.
  3. Σιγηροῦ ποταμοῦ τὰ βάθη γυρεύει.
  4. Ἀγροίκου μὴ καταφρόνει ῥήτορος. 
  5. Ὦτα καὶ ὀφθαλμοὶ πολλοὶ βασιλέως.
